Discover Lake Como sporting opportunities
An holiday in Bellagio is the ideal opportunity to discover Lake Como from another point of view, the lake itself.
Our sporting proposal offers you both the opportunity to visit hidden naturalistic and historic gems and the opportunity to easily practice kayak.
From starting point at Pescallo harbour beach you can enjoy our services offered by a professional rower and kayak enthusiast.
Our tours are suitable for everyone, families, groups and young people.
We have a fleet of kayaks designed to ensure maximum safety and security. Our local rowing expert will guide you during the tours and you'll be equipped with a safety jacket.
We offer you 4 different tour routes. Tours begin in the morning to ensure the best temperatures and sunlight in order to easily complete the route.
We launch from the Harbour of Pescallo which was formerly the fisherman's district. This lovely quaint harbour is surrounded by an astonishing lake view in the shadow of Serbelloni's hill.
We head along Bellagio's west and then the east coast, taking the opportunity to discover hidden nature spots and the beautiful architecture and gardens of the Patrician villas that you'll encounter along the promenade of Bellagio.
One tour will take you to the famous Villa del Balbianello and another one to the town of Varenna crossing the lake.
Your tour may be modified upon prior request (as long as the guide deems the proposed course technically safe and logistically possible).
You may ask for a tour reservation or further informations at our contacts page.
Our local expert has vast experience in professional rowing and has been the Sporting Director at Bellagio Rowing Club.
Bellagio, called "Pearl of Lake Como" lies on the peninsula edge looking north, west and east of Lake Como and offering a grand panoramic view.
The town is surrounded by marvelous patrician villas, including the Villa Serbelloni, now the property of the Rockefeller foundation, Villa Trotti, Villa Gerli, Villa Melzi d'Eril and its beautiful botanical and historic gardens.
The town center deserves a visit for the atmosphere, the San Giacomo cathedral built in the romantic style. There's the "Punta Spartivento" view on lake Como's northern side, the promenade and it's bars in Belle Epoque style, along with lots of handcrafts, fashion and Lake Como's famous silk shops.
Dine in our many traditional and lake fish restaurants, or enjoy wine or a cocktail in our bars and wine bars, the lights of the nearby towns sparkling like gems on the water.
Bellagio will be your starting point for many nearby points of interest: Menaggio, Varenna, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia, Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta as well for our kayak tours.
